《FOLKLORE》是一部共6集（每集1小時）的恐怖影集，每1集的故事素材源於亞洲各地區不同的迷信及傳說，包括印度尼西亞、日本、韓國、馬來西亞、新加坡和泰國。
印尼篇：單親媽媽和兒子在閣樓裏發現一群髒兮兮又營養不良的小孩。為了拯救這些孩子，她無意間觸怒了這群孩子的養母格姆貝兒，並引起一連串的報複行動。
泰國篇：一名記者遇見泰國幽靈波歐，波歐坦承謀殺案與自己有關。波歐找到抱怨的對象，並解釋了謀殺案的經過，同時要求這名記者發表他的故事，但卻被拒絕。兩人於是立下終身的協議。
新加坡篇：當工頭和建築工人試圖埋葬一名女孩屍體而不是焚燒她時，龐蒂雅娜（因難產而亡的女性鬼魂）被喚醒了。施工現場開始發生一連串不幸事件。
日本篇：專門描寫凶案現場的作家回到家鄉參加爸爸的喪禮，腦海裏因而浮現出童年的畫麵。隨後他在家裏發現一道秘門，門後的居室竟藏著家族過往的可怕秘密。
