Sony的不靠譜網絡台Crackle過去預訂一部新劇《創業公司 Start Up》，首季為10集，這部每集一小時劇集講述一個聰明﹑但備受爭議的科技理念，被三個看似是高科技企業家的人，利用在不正確的方向上。劇集背景為形容在不受約束﹑機會主義的邁阿密裏，看哪個人為了成功而更 不擇手段。而Crackle宣布該劇會在美國時間9月6日播出。
Martin Freeman飾演FBI探員Phil Rask，專長是金融犯罪。他與在精品投資銀行工作，目光銳利﹑機智的金融家Nick Talman（Adam Brody飾演）有所交集，不過Phil Rask要麵對的是Nick Talman的父親。
